Ofsted Inspection Report
We were inspected by Ofsted on 3rd February 2025. The inspector completed a tour of both Club settings and walked with the children back from school. The inspector observed activities and interactions between staff and children. She spoke with staff and children at appropriate times during the inspection and reviewed documentation and evidence of the suitability of staff working in the Club. The inspector considered written parental feedback, spoke to several parents, carers and Swanland School’s headteacher and took account of their views.
We are delighted that we achieved MET, the highest possible grade for before and after school care.
Some of the highlights from the report include the comments on how ” children are relaxed, confident and develop strong bonds with the staff ” and ” children tell visitors they love coming to the Club, playing games and spending time with their friends ” The inspector recognised that ” Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported extremely well “.
She mentioned that ” Children’s behaviour is very good “. The inspector noticed that ” staff encourage children to share their interests and then plan activities around these for children to enjoy ” and that ” staff create exciting activities for children and link to the host school’s topics “.
